Rinse After Use
Rinse your board with fresh water after each session to remove salt, sand, and debris. This helps preserve its appearance and performance over time. For dirt or light scuffs, a damp cloth or Magic Eraser can be used safely.
Dry Before Storing
Allow the board to fully dry before rolling and placing it back in the bag. Store in a cool, dry place or shaded area, away from prolonged direct sunlight, to prevent fading or material wear.
Avoid Prolonged Sun Exposure
Extended exposure to direct sunlight can weaken materials and seams over time and may increase internal pressure beyond recommended levels. When not on the water, keep the board in the shade whenever possible.
Lower Pressure When Idle
If the board is left out of the water or stored partially inflated, reduce the PSI until it is slightly compressible by hand. This helps protect the board from unnecessary stress caused by heat and pressure changes.

I own a few paddle boards, and this one really stands out as the best because of how thoughtful and convenient the design is. You can tell a lot of care went into the details.
One of my favorite features is the paddle strap. It seems like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference when you want to take a break, swim, or just relax without worrying about your paddle drifting away.
The full EVA deck pad is another highlight. It provides excellent grip, even when the board is wet, and it’s incredibly comfortable under my feet. It also gives me peace of mind that my board is better protected from sharp little SUP pup nails!
Beyond those features, the board feels sturdy, well-built, and thoughtfully laid out. The attention to detail and convenience really enhances the overall experience!
I’d definitely recommend The Pelican to anyone looking for a user-friendly board with smart features that actually make a difference!!
I paddle mostly ocean and some Great Lakes. All around great board for any occasion. Very well made and durable.
